At War: Fighting to end Child Sexual, Emotional, and Physical Abuse – All Maltreatment!
As early as February 1, 2018, a fiscal year report published by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services enlightened us on what’s been happening as of late. According to the report, there were an estimated 676,000 [reported] victims of abuse and neglect [reported by children]. Should we suggest this number would easily double or quadruple if more victims were to come forward?
With or without an answer, it’s confirmed that younger children are the most vulnerable to maltreatment. As a matter of fact, the report also showed 51 states reporting more than one-quarter (28.5%) of victims were younger than 3 years. When we take gender into account, there’s less than a 10% difference of maltreatment amongst boys and girls. I wonder if this is telling us the gap between gender is not heavily discriminated against.
Win the war by helping remove and reduce the risk of maltreatment and the harmful side effects of those who are affected!
You can do this by reporting – If you see something, say something!

If you feel psychologically stressed to the point that it is interfering with your ability to function, please have the courage to seek the help you need in the form of a professional therapist. Life coaching may augment your therapy, but the work of coaching is meant to be done when major emotional and psychological wounds are healing or already healed.
