Mildred A. Burge was born in Los Angeles California and is a professional motivational speaker, committed Foster Parent, and entrepreneur.
She has worked for notable organizations such as Los Angeles Unified School District, Robert F. Kennedy Medical Center, and (LACOE) Los Angeles County of Office of Education.
During her fifteen years of employment with LACOE, she conducted classes and motivational workshops for community-based organizations staff, families, and at-risk youth. She also provided advocacy services for the families and youth she served.
After her twenty-four year career as a public servant Ms. Burge retired to peruse her passion as an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and launch her non-profit organization, Seeds of Morning Glory Inc., which serves to impact, empower, and enrich the lives of people in the community.
She currently resides in Long Beach California with her two Foster sons, three cats, two dogs, and two turtles. Her upbringing and experience allowed her to interact with a diverse population of people. It was these experiences that encouraged her to evolve into the person that she has become.
